Miss Kitty

To my dear, sweet, pretty little Miss Kitty.

Firstly, I love you so much and thank you for everything. Our time together has made my life better for it. You opened my heart and showed me what it means to have an animal unconditionally love you. You were one in a million, you showed me companionship, happiness, joy and I’ll treasure our time together forever. You weren’t just a cat, you were an angel.

My heart is broken and I will miss you forever. I miss your stink, your constant shouting, your ability to throw up or poop wherever you liked, your puddles of dribble when you were enjoying any affection, if we didn’t feed you on time you were a personal alarm clock with your gentle and “soft” meowing at 6 in the morning…on a Saturday. I’m glad that on our final day together, I got to hold you in my arms and dance with you to “Tiny Dancer”. And when Natasha told me that in your final moments together, she sang “Close to You”, truthfully there isn’t a better song that describes what you meant to us. Natasha loves you and also thanks you for the wonderful 19 years you gave her and although it wasn’t enough, she will treasure every second you two had together.

I can’t wait to see you again, have endless lap cuddles, nose kisses and give you an unlimited supply of licky-licks. On behalf of myself, Natasha, your little brother Nero, and everyone else whose lives you have touched, you will always be loved and missed forever.

When you see your sister, Cully, be nice to her and give her our love.

Sleep well my angel, lots of kisses and love, thank you x
