Animal friends that passed away within the last 3 years will also be remembered on our Facebook page. Please note that only memorials with a photo included and the date of death recorded can be shared on Facebook.

Calisi
Although she would just be turning 3 years old this month, I feel like she has been my best friend for so long that I don't remember living without her. She was there for every beach walk, for every garbage run, to keep me safe, to kiss me on my cheek with her sloppy tongue. She was there to run to every friendly hand for a pet, She was there to bark a warning or step in front of me like a barrier of quiet protection. She was there for the snuggles and for the gross things to bring back on her runaway adventures. Calisi loved the beach, digging holes in the sand, following sand crabs until they got lost in the waves, jumping into the water to seek the sinking coral beneath the surface. She loved playing with all dogs, any dogs! Calisi would rest her head on my lap, she would obediently wait for bathroom breaks. She was brave, sweet, loved chicken, ice cream, yogurt. She enjoyed these very things in her last days. She took every tear I cried and just sat with me. She did not judge me. She did not question my love for her. Calisi knew that the world was her friend. She was here for such a short time and lived her life like every day was meant for fun. It was almost as if she knew. Her eyes were soulful, her ears were soft and I miss and love her with more heartbeats that I will ever have.
