Have You a dog in Heaven, Lord?
Is there room for just one more?
Cause my mum's little dog died yesterday
He'll be waiting at Your door.
Please take him into Heaven, Lord.
And keep him there for her.
Just feed him, pet him, love him, Lord,
That's all he'll ask of Thee.
Manni was a 13 year old Japanese Shiba Inu who died in my mum's arms yesterday morning. He was a skittish dog, but never-the-less he was a beautiful dog. As much as I didn't for a bond with him, like the bond he and my mum had, he will be missed, by all of us, especially by mum and our little Chinese Crested Barney, who misses his play mate. Rest in peace Manni, may your soul find its way home and may all your deepest desires be catered for. Follow that rainbow bridge little man and find peace and happiness, for you are no longer in pain.
