Hiro, our precious and beautiful boy, we lost you so cruelly just two days before your 6th birthday. The pain of losing you was just too much after losing Oscar (24/09/06 - 09/12/11) at the same age less than two years previously. Forgive us, baby, for taking over 6 months to post this tribute to you, but it's been too painful, and even now we weep as we type. We were (and still are) bereft and absolutely consumed with grief at having lost you so suddenly and tragically and when you were just coming into your prime. You were such a fun and boisterous character, who lit up our lives...so unique in so many ways - and so funny, and no cat can ever take your place. We miss you so much; Ellie has lost her playmate and best friend, and still looks for you and cries out for you more than 6 months on, while Reuben has lost a brother and ally. Nothing in the world could have prepared us for what happened or how we saw you suffer at the end. We can only hope that our presence helped in some way to calm you and comfort you. Run free at Rainbow Bridge with Oscar. We love you so, so much and always will. Life is not the same; we are lost without you.
