My beloved GinGin, loving, loved belly rubs, head butts. He would lie next to me , he would wake me in the morning wanting to be fed. His passing was totally unexpected, no sign of illness. He came into the bathroom where I was , usually does come in, quivered then dropped to the floor. I picked him up, laid him on my bed and his heart stopped beating. I am totally heartbroken and devastated. I wish I knew the cause of his passing, could I have prevented it?? He will be and is already sorely missed.

You appeared in my life at a time when I really needed a friend. I have never known an animal show so much love and gratitude at being loved and wanted in return. The day you died in front of me is one I will never forget. You crawled to my feet to allow me to say goodbye to you before you dragged yourself, out of my sight, in order to finish dying. Rest in peace my beautiful cat. x

GingerYou were my precious and beloved cat of almost 17 years what a life we spent together, I cherish you now and forever. I was sad to see you go, but I wanted you to know I was there for you all the way taking care of you throughout the nights and days right till the end I never left your side as you were my baby boy who filled my life with so much joy bringing sunshine and smiles on a rainy day,
Just a cuddle and a purr turned my dark clouds away.
Seventeen wonderful years you gave me the best years of my life spent with you, if I could do it all again I probably would, and wouldn’t change a thing apart from the suffering you went through, but I was There for you and knowing this brings some comfort to my sad heart although now we have had to part your memory

I adopted Ginny 4 years ago. She was an 11 year old Maltese Plus; who had been picked up as a stray in the country, adopted by people here sight unseen, then surrendered as she and their existing dog didn’t get on.
She used to drive me crazy barking at passing cars and people! But she was also the most affectionate little dog. My favorite time was evenings when she would snuggle up against me on the lounge. She finally wore me down a year ago and started sleeping on my bed.
Today her ashes came home. It makes losing her so final but it’s nice to still have something of her to hold.
