You were my special little girl, tiny and elegant. I rescued you and your two sisters when you were six weeks old.
I had to always encourage you to eat, you had the best of everything, nothing was too much trouble for me.
You always ran when your name was called and would follow me around. you loved to sit in the garden and watch
the world go by. Unfortunately you took ill very fast and we lost you in less than a day. The vet said that your heart was nearly three time the size it should have been. You had obviously been born with this condition but you were always active and appeared to be healthy even if you were small and thin. I thank you for the three and a half years that you were with me, I will treasure that time forever. You went to Rainbow Bridge on Mothers Day, I couldn't buy my late Mam a present but I know she will look after you, my precious gift to her. It has broken my heart to lose you but I would not let you suffer in pain and the vet could do nothing to save you. Sleep tight my darling Elvira, one day I shall see you again and we will be together for eternity. You are loved so much and will never be forgotten. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Bubbie boy, you were one in a million. We all loved you so much and your funny little ways. You were almost like a dog with your habits and quirks. You loved chinny rubs and banana muffins. 18 years of choosing us to live with and allowing us to love you. Even when you went completely deaf you still never lost your beautiful character. We hope you are reunited with darling Poppy and can both be at peace now after such long and wonderful lives.

Elvis was such a beautiful boy. Sadly missed. He left the building on 14th December 2011. I still think I see him out of the corner of my eye. Playing now with his brother Jockie at the Rainbow Bridge.

I know everyone claims their dog is special, as all are truly unique gifts to us, but Ender was such a special, kind, gentle soul. He stole the hearts of anyone who met him, with his playful, goofy personality and his gentle demeanor. He was a rock for my husband and I through some of the most painful trials of our lives, and he was taken too soon. We will miss the way you always guarded the yard from those pesky squirrels, how you were obsessed with trying to chase fireworks, how you always knew when we needed you sitting steady next to us to be comforted. It grieves us so much that our daughter who is due to be born next month will never get to meet you, and Petra misses you so much. We love you Bubba, and know we will see you again when you come running to greet us in Heaven.

My best friend closed her eyes today
As her head was in my hand.
The Doctors said she was in pain,
And it was hard for her to stand.
The thoughts that scurried through my head,
As I cradled her in my arms.
Were of her younger, puppy years,
And OH...her many charms.
Today, there was no gentle nudge
With an intense "I love you gaze",
Only a heart thats filled with tears
Remembering our joy filled days.
But an Angel just appeared to me,
And he said, "You should cry no more,
GOD also loves our canine friends,
HE's installed a 'doggy-door"!
