i still beat myself up inside when I think of having to sign those forms Alfie even though when it came down to doing it I had very little choice because we all knew you had enough of the pain you must of been in, the cancer finally had its way Alf. we all miss you our loyal mutt x I have kept your black leather collar safe x I hope you are not chasing any cats where ever you are because you know they turn on you! x

To our darling Amber. Letting you go was extremely difficult, but we knew after 19 years full of love, adventure and friendship you had fought and lost your last battle and it was the kindest thing to do. You remain, however, forever in our hearts and part of our spiritual family and the memories of your life with us will always be cherished and celebrated. Our darling rescued cat Amber was taken from us on the morning of the 3rd April, almost 8 years to the day from when we brought her home from Cat Protection. For 8 years she lived a charmed life, treated like royalty. She was petite, but very agile and playful and although she wasn't a lap cat she had her own very strict routine and a very strong personality. We - my husband, me and our 25-year old son - loved her. Indeed she helped my son to recover from a serious illness, just by being there for him. Sleep peacefully my darling; mummy and daddy love you and will always love you. If you can come back in some way to let us know you are OK we would love that - it would help us so much. We are heartbroken...

Amber, one day we will meet over the rainbow bridge. I miss you and the piggies so much and it still hurts to this day when you decided it was time to go. I wished I could have kissed you and cuddled you one more time and thrown your stick for you. Love you Lamb Lamb and remember you every day.
