On the 14th March it is going to be Louis birthday, he would have been 7 years old. It is also going to be 4 months exactly since he passed away. As I write this tears are flowing. I really miss him terribly still, keep going over his last few hours and I hurt tremendously. I still can't believe he has gone, as he was such a healthy and fit dog before his diagnosis. Does it ever get easier? There still isn't a day that passes without me shedding a tear. I miss you so much my little angel xxx

It definitely does get easier for most people Fiona, in time, but there is no set time. And anniversaries of whatever nature often do trigger some worsening in grief; hopefully in time they will trigger fond memories instead of sad emotions as the main thing. I hope this will come to be the case for you. Got to hang in there and trust that it will become easier.

I hear what you are saying Shailen, but for me at the moment it does not seem to get easier. Yesterday was a hard day, but I did light a candle in memory of My Boy.
