We got Tiger 2 years ago from Cat's protection league. We had just lost our female cat and we got him to ease our pain a little. I had put a post on him not long after we brought him home.

Now we have lost him and we are brokenhearted. Hubby misses him of course as he was mostly on his lap, but men sometimes hide their feelings. Tiger became ill so quickly which has made it a bit worse. It is a week ago nearly since this happened and I am still crying now and again. We can't get another one because we hope to move shortly and some flats don't accept animals. I know this intense grief will pass, but at the moment it is so hard.
