LUCY
We loved you from the day you came at approximately 6 month old from rescue. You grew so close to us especially Bill . He was ill in bed at one time and you wouldn't leave his side ,I had to bring your food upstairs.Every evening you would lie between us when we had our meal you also had to have a bit of whet we were having ,Chicken was your favourite. you lost your hearing about 3 yrs ago and your site about 1 yr but you managed very well and we would carry you to the garden for a walk around the lawn and at bed time you would come to bed with us you loved your hammock on the radiator or your little house , More often enough it was our bed.. I could really write a book about you Lucy. You accepted each and every one of our other cats the Last new comer was Rupert who misses you too you took it in turns to drink water from the bathroom sink. When you needed your claws clipping and your paw hard skin also trimming (a problem you were born with)you gently held out your paws we could do anything with you. You were even scared of birds and we never saw you hurt anything .THe end was hard you went down hill fast and due to Covid we couldn't bare to take you to the vets and leave you.Vicky from serenity vets came to our home and gently and kindly put you to sleep on your nice warm blanket where we held you.Devistated beyond words. You are in a little wooden cat casket now and will be with us always and forever . God bless you and thankyou for coming into our lives xx
