Jacob
Jacob certainly lived up to his nickname of Big Boy weighing in at 6.5 kilos , following me to the shops moaning all the way if I didn't wait for him. He was very street wise and loved to be out front of the house sun bathing and making friends with people who passed by ( he was the only one of my cats all rescue aloud out front) Jacob had a heart murmur when I first got him 10 years ago about 18mths ago he was diagnosed with heart failure and was doing well on Vetmedin.
I was on holiday with my son & grandson when I got a phone call from my neighbour who was looking after my cats to say Jacob was very ill I couldn't get home so she took him to the vet who said a blood clot had paralyzed his back legs. To save anymore suffering I asked the vet to put him to sleep. They kindly kept him for me until I got home . I had him cremated and will bury him in my front garden that he so loved.
