Every day goes by and i still believe that one day you'll come home. When you ran away 2 years ago, i cried every day, wishing for you to be safe; hopefully you are. I miss you little stumps, your sister is waiting for your return to and Jess who makes out she hated you but she secretly loved you. I'll always cherish the memories we shared, you knocking on my door every night for our snuggle before bed, you climbing up from my legs to sit on my shoulder when i got your food ready, the way you let me put sun glasses on you n you'd sit there for hours loving every minute of it. You chasing Minnie (your sister) round and attacking jess when she wasnt looking. I miss you and I love you, wherever you are, the one place i know ill find you is my heart <3

Suklaa

21/11/98 - 25/08/16

Suklaa came to us from a friend whose cat had escaped and become pregnant, in January 1999, she was a very feisty kitten who was into every thing. She was called Suklaa as this is Finnish for chocolate and her fur was the colour of dark chocolate. She grew into a beautiful, loving cat, although timid of strangers, she was different once she got to know you. When she was 7 I moved to Hebden Bridge, and got a house with a lovely garden for her to explore in, away from main roads. She loved her garden, and sometimes I think I can still hear her coming back in her cat flap during the night. Even at the end, she went outside up until the last week when she went downhill quite rapidly. In August 2015 she was diagnosed with cancer, and as she was 16 then we decided not to go down the route of chemo. She went on for another year, before the cancer spread and we had to have her put to sleep on 25th August. I still miss her, and always will. She was very special and wanted to be with me all the time. My main regret is that my job took me away so much, and although she spent lots of time with Neil and wasn't alone, I wasn't there as much as I would have liked to be. It's taken me a while to post this tribute, as I was too upset at first. Now I have come to terms with her death a bit more I felt that her birthday was a fitting time to add it. Love you always Suklaa xx
