In honour of my gorgeous girl Polly 17 and half years old who I miss so much - you were always waiting behind the door when you heard my car pull up outside and you followed me everywhere around the house, you had cute little ways like when you were a kitten i threw a cotton bud in the bin and you went and brought it back to me, we played that game right up until a couple of weeks before you left me. You would always want to sit on my lap as soon as i picked up the laptop to type so you would squash in between and lie there for ages i miss stroking your lovely soft fur - i think about you every day Polly (Perrkins)and it brings tears to my eyes like now whilst I type this but I know i made the best decision for you as you where getting very tired and I had to let you go before you suffered real pain. This is my lovely Polly, with her crooked caramel lipstick. The world's most easy-going cat, she was loved by everyone she met - she completely charmed all our neighbours, who always made a fuss of her when they came home from work.
Polly came to live with us when she was 4, as her previous mommy couldn't keep her any longer. She settled in to our house as if she'd been born there. We put a collar on her as soon as she arrived and she just carried on as if nothing had changed. She accepted Pebbles the Westie puppy without a fuss and they became the best of friends.
Polly crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Christmas Eve 2009 after suffering chronic liver failure. In the space of two weeks, she went from playing happily with Pebbles to half her body weight and unable to eat anything. The decision to have her pts was SO hard and I miss her SO very much. Pebbles was miserable for months afterwards and kept searching for her friend. Love you always and forever, my beautiful girl xxxx

I have had many pets over the years. They have all come and gone. Polly was a special little cat. We reared her up as a kitten. She was a part of the family. Through the good and bad times She was there to comfort us. I have fond and loving memories of her. The day I lost Polly to a tragic accident was one of the saddest in my recent memories. I will never forget you Polly. Thank you for all the loving memories. You are always in my thoughts and prayers, little one. God bless you. xxxx.

polo you were a wonderful friend always true and always tried the best no matter what the competition. your last days were as comfortable as possible and I thank you for waiting for me before passing now you can gallop across those fields to "rainbow bridge" and be alongside Porschea you will always be remembered R.I.P

A part of us went with you,
A part that time can't heal.

in your softly, rumbling purr,
to hold you on our laps again
and stroke your golden fur.
We wish we had you back again,
to fill this empty space.
But one day we'll be together
in a far, far better place.
