Jacob certainly lived up to his nickname of Big Boy weighing in at 6.5 kilos , following me to the shops moaning all the way if I didn't wait for him. He was very street wise and loved to be out front of the house sun bathing and making friends with people who passed by ( he was the only one of my cats all rescue aloud out front) Jacob had a heart murmur when I first got him 10 years ago about 18mths ago he was diagnosed with heart failure and was doing well on Vetmedin.
I was on holiday with my son & grandson when I got a phone call from my neighbour who was looking after my cats to say Jacob was very ill I couldn't get home so she took him to the vet who said a blood clot had paralyzed his back legs. To save anymore suffering I asked the vet to put him to sleep. They kindly kept him for me until I got home . I had him cremated and will bury him in my front garden that he so loved.

JAF JAF you were given to us as your owner was moving you were only tiny when you moved in but settled so well but being a boy you walked for miles then one day you went a little to far and got hit by a car and left by the side of the road but a lady found you and brought you home but it was to late you were only about 7 months old when you went to the rainbow bridge but having you in our life was amazing and i had to help more kitties out hope your being good we miss you lots xx your big bro mojo misses you xx

Gone but not forgotton. A day doesn't go by I don't have a cry thinking of Jake. What an amazing boy he was, King of the English Springers.Miss him sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much it hurts ........... Gone before his time.

I'm so sorry to have had to make the decision to let you go to Rainbow Bridge. You were the best boy ever, the best decision I have ever made was choosing you as a puppy. You grew into the sweetest boy and I loved you so much and still do. I miss you so much. One day I hope to be with you again and you will be happy and healthy. To the most beautiful boy in the world ever. RIP Jake xxxxxx Mam.
